For 10 years Frankie was a regular on the early morning Ralph Emery Show, singing with a live band, or playing piano and singing, dedicating songs to people in the viewing audience. The show was broadcast on NBC affiliate WSMV-TV and this show had the biggest lead-in audience – in the whole nation – to the Today Show on NBC. That was because it was broadcast to all markets within 150 miles of Nashville.
